How Terra Coffee handles personal data: what we collect, why, who sees it, and your rights.

Last updated November 2026

Who we are

This website, terra-coffee.com, is operated by Terra Intnl Co., Ltd., 247 Teheran-ro, Gangnam-gu, Seoul 06241, Republic of Korea. For anything concerning your personal data, write to info@terra-coffee.com.

What we collect

When you write to us. The contact form asks for your name, your email address, a subject, your message, and — optionally — a company name. We receive exactly what you type, and nothing else.

When you visit. Our host records the technical data every web server records: your IP address, the page requested, the time, and your browser's identification. We do not read these logs unless something breaks.

That is the whole list. There is no account to create, no newsletter sign-up, no advertising network, and no analytics or tracking of any kind on this site.

What stays on your device

If you add a coffee to your bag, that choice is written to your own browser's local storage. It stays on your device, it is never sent to us, and clearing your browser data removes it. The same goes for the scroll position we remember so the page does not jump when you come back to it.

This site sets no cookies. See our cookie policy for the detail.

Why we are allowed to hold it

We are a Korean company, so the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) governs what we do with your data. You give us your message and your contact details yourself, by filling in the form, in order to be answered — that consent is the basis on which we hold them. You can withdraw it at any time by asking us to delete the exchange.

Because this site is addressed to visitors in the European Union as well, the GDPR applies to us in parallel. Under it, we rely on two grounds: your message is processed as a step taken at your request before any contract, or out of our legitimate interest in replying to people who write to us; server logs are kept out of a legitimate interest in keeping the site available and secure.

Transfers of personal data from the European Union to Korea are covered by the European Commission's adequacy decision of December 2021 for commercial operators subject to PIPA.

Who else sees it

Netlify hosts this site and receives the contact form. Netlify, Inc. is based in the United States.

Google Fonts serves the typefaces. Loading them sends your IP address to Google.

Cloudinary serves one video. Loading it sends your IP address to Cloudinary.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else.

All three are established in the United States, so using them means your data leaves Korea. Where the data of European visitors is concerned, those onward transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. (A VERIFIER : confirmer le mecanisme de transfert avec chaque prestataire, et la base retenue au titre de l'article 28-8 de la PIPA pour le transfert hors de Coree.)

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries for as long as the exchange is live, and for a reasonable period afterwards in case you come back to us — then we delete them. Server logs are kept for the period our host applies.

(A VERIFIER : fixer une duree chiffree, par exemple 24 mois pour les demandes commerciales.)

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, ask us to restrict what we do with it, object to our processing it, or ask for it in a portable form. Write to info@terra-coffee.com. We answer requests to see or correct your data within ten days, as Korean law requires, and any other request within one month.

If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Korean supervisory authority, the Personal Information Protection Commission (pipc.go.kr), or — if you are in the European Union — to the data protection authority of the country where you live.

What we do not do

We take no automated decisions about you, we do not profile you, and we do not address this site to children.
